Brainwise is designed to give you bite‐sized learning without intruding on your privacy. We collect only the minimum information needed to power the app and keep it on your device.

2. No Personal Identifiers Collected

• What We Don’t Gather: We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information.
• How This Benefits You: You can enjoy Brainwise without registering or sharing personal details—just tap, learn, and keep scrolling.

3. Categories & Preferences Live Only on Your Device

• Data Stored: When you “Pick Your Interests,” we save your chosen categories (e.g., “Productivity & Focus,” “Mind & Philosophy,” etc.) locally in your device’s storage.
• Why This Matters: Your preferences never leave your phone. There is no central server holding a record of what you like.

4. Bookmarks Are Entirely Local

• What We Save: If you bookmark a byte, Brainwise downloads that single image, stores it in your device’s private caches, and remembers it in a small on‐device list.
• Only You See It: Bookmarked bytes are never uploaded or synced; they remain in your phone’s local storage unless you explicitly delete the app or clear its data.

5. Thoughtful Analytics with Mixpanel (No Personal Profiling)

• Product‐Improvement Only: We use Mixpanel to collect anonymized, high‐level usage events (e.g., “opened detail sheet,” “played byte slideshow,” “selected category”) so we can understand which features are working well and where to improve.
• No Identifiable Tracking: We never capture your name, email, or any PII in Mixpanel. Your events are tied to an anonymous device‐ID only, and cannot be linked back to you personally.
• Why This Helps You: By understanding which flows and features you use most, we can iterate faster—fix bugs, add requested categories, optimize performance—without ever peeking into your private data.
